L'oreal professional absolut repair oil 10 in 1 oil 30ml

A lightweight leave-in finishing oil in a 30ml travel size, from L'Oréal Professionnel's Absolut Repair range for dry and damaged hair. It smooths the hair surface, adds shine and makes hair easier to detangle and style.

What's inside, and why

• Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethiconol are silicones. They give slip and a silky, non-greasy feel. Cyclopentasiloxane evaporates after application and leaves the lighter coating behind.
• Wheat Germ Oil and Rice Bran Oil are plant oils that soften the hair and add shine.
• Parfum, with Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene and Citral is the fragrance. The four named ingredients are fragrance components that must be listed separately because they can trigger allergies in some people.

Good to know: this is the formula sold in the UK and US, so check the box in your hands for the final list. The oil smooths and coats the hair surface. It makes damaged hair look and feel better, but it doesn't repair damage inside the strand. It contains wheat germ oil, so skip it if you're allergic to wheat.

How to use

Apply a small amount to towel-dried hair. Spread it evenly through the mid-lengths and ends. Don't rinse. Style as usual.
