Dago plus anti-dandruff shampoo 250ml

An anti-dandruff shampoo that combines three anti-dandruff actives (piroctone olamine, climbazole and selenium sulfide) with tea tree oil, caffeine and saw palmetto extract.

What's inside, and why

• Piroctone Olamine, Climbazole and Selenium Sulfide are the anti-dandruff actives. Dandruff is linked to a yeast that lives on the scalp (Malassezia), and these ingredients are used to keep it under control.
• Melaleuca Alternifolia (tea tree) Leaf Oil is a plant oil with antimicrobial properties. It can trigger allergies in some people.
• Caffeine and Serenoa Serrulata (saw palmetto) Fruit Extract are added for scalp and hair care. The evidence for them in a wash-off shampoo is limited.
• Aloe Vera Callus Extract and Panthenol are soothing, hydrating ingredients.
• Sodium Laureth Sulfate, TEA-Cocoate and Cocamidopropyl Betaine are the cleansing agents that make the lather.

Good to know: it contains fragrance and a blue colorant (C.I. 42090). Selenium sulfide can discolor lightened, gray or chemically treated hair, so rinse thoroughly.

How to use

Wash your hair with lukewarm water. Take a proper amount of shampoo on wet hair and massage gently. Leave it on the scalp for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.

For best results, use it twice a week for 2 weeks, then once a week to help keep dandruff from coming back.

Before you start

For external use. Avoid the eyes, and rinse with water if shampoo gets in. Don't use it on a broken or inflamed scalp, and stop if it causes irritation.
